La pasantía en la E.S.E Hospital El Salvador de Ubaté tuvo como objetivo principal la actualización de los manuales de procesos y procedimientos del área contable y financiera. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, se utilizó como base la información contenida en los manuales desactualizados y se contó con la colaboración de los responsables de cada área, quienes brindaron orientación sobre los cambios ocurridos y la normativa aplicable. La actualización de estos manuales resulta de vital importancia, ya que contribuye a mejorar la calidad, veracidad y manejo de la información en el área contable. Además, permite asegurar el cumplimiento de los estándares establecidos por la normatividad vigente en el sector público. Asimismo, se buscó analizar la influencia de la información registrada en el sistema CITISALUD en los procesos contables de la entidad. Esto permitió obtener un mayor control sobre los datos ingresados en los distintos módulos de cada área, asegurando así la integridad y coherencia de la información contable. ABSTRAC The internship at the E.S.E Hospital El Salvador de Ubaté had as its main objective the updating of the manuals of processes and procedures of the accounting and financial area. To carry out this task, the information contained in the out-of-date manuals was used as a basis, with the collaboration of those responsible for each area, who provided guidance on the changes that occurred and the applicable regulations. Updating these manuals is of vital importance, since it contributes to improving the quality, veracity and management of information in the accounting area. In addition, it allows ensuring compliance with the standards established by current regulations in the public sector. Likewise, it was sought to analyze the influence of the information registered in the CITISALUD system on the accounting processes of the entity. This allowed obtaining greater control over the data entered in the different modules of each area, thus ensuring the integrity and coherence of the accounting information.
