Caracteristicas de la rumba criolla en los departamentos de santander, cundinamarca y boyaca “análisis de a juerguiar tocan y tapetusa”

Este trabajo está enfocado en identificar las características y elementos interpretativos de la Rumba Criolla en los departamentos de Santander, Boyacá y Cundinamarca. Para llevar a cabo esta caracterización, se escogió un representante de cada región. Camilo Cifuentes, Manuel Bernal y Juan Eulogio Mesa son los representantes escogidos respectivamente. Con cada uno de ellos se procedió a realizar un formato de entrevista cualitativa. En seguida, interpretaron a su manera y según sus influencias musicales, dos obras seleccionadas; “A juerguear tocan” del maestro Emilio Sierra y “Tapetusa” de Milcíades Garavito. Las dos obras seleccionadas fueron grabadas, con el fin de transcribir y analizar diferentes elementos, como: articulación, motivos, métrica, melodía, acompañamiento y diseño. Estos parámetros conllevarán a deducir esas características interpretativas comunes y diferentes entre sí. Para finalizar se determinará por medio de la comparación e identificación respectiva, los elementos más relevantes de cada una de las interpretaciones y características comunes y diferentes que brindáron los representantes de cada región, estableciendo gran aporte y variedad interpretativa tanto en melodía como en acompañaimeto en Tiple de la Rumba Criolla. 19 Abstract This work is focused on identifying the characteristics and interpretative elements of the Rumba Criolla in the departments of Santander, Boyacá and Cundinamarca. To carry out this characterization, a representative from each region was chosen. Camilo Cifuentes, Manuel Bernal and Juan Eulogio Mesa are the chosen representatives respectively. With each one of them, a qualitative interview format was carried out. Next, they interpreted in their own way and according to their musical influences, two selected works; "A juerguear toca" by maestro Emilio Sierra and "Tapetusa" by Milcíades Garavito. The two selected works were recorded, in order to transcribe and analyze different elements, such as: articulation, motifs, metrics, melody, accompaniment and design. These parameters will lead to deduce these common and different interpretative characteristics. To finalize it will be determined by means of the comparison and respective identification, the most relevant elements of each one of the interpretations and common and different characteristics that the representatives of each region offered, establishing great contribution and interpretative variety both in melody and in accompaniment in Tiple of the Creole Rumba.
