El presente proyecto es una monografía en donde se pretende proponer un modelo de asociatividad para los tenderos del municipio de Ubaté, después de hacer una caracterización y respectivo análisis de los factores que influyen en la competitividad de dichas unidades de negocio. Se considera que estos negocios de barrio son de gran interés por ser los que concentran la mayor cantidad de clientes del sector en donde desempeña sus actividades comerciales. Se determinó por medio de una encuesta que estos negocios denominados tiendas de barrio tienen falencias en sus estructuras administrativas y operativas, porque muchas de ellas no cuentan con un registro de las ventas y compras que realizan a diario o mensual. Al igual no están correctamente formalizadas, no controlan en su mayoría los inventarios de sus productos, no cuentan con créditos por parte de sus proveedores, la gran mayoría de los que surten estos negocios no son del municipio, casi todos son de Bogotá o de otras ciudades. Los tenderos consideran que es la Universidad quien debe acompañarlos en el proceso de asociatividad, ya que no confían en ninguna otra institución por tener intereses diferentes. ABSTRAC This project is a monograph in which it is intended to propose an associativity model for shopkeepers in the municipality of Ubaté, after making a characterization and respective analysis of the factors that influence the competitiveness of these business units. It is considered that these neighborhood businesses are of great interest because they are the ones that concentrate the largest number of clients in the sector where they carry out their commercial activities. It was determined through a survey that these businesses called neighborhood stores have shortcomings in their administrative and operational structures, because many of them do not have a record of the sales and purchases they make on a daily or monthly basis. Likewise, they are not properly formalized, they do not control the inventories of their products, they do not have credits from their suppliers, the vast majority of those who supply these businesses are not from the municipality, almost all are from Bogotá or other cities The shopkeepers consider that it is the University that must accompany them in the associativity process, since they do not trust any other institution because they have different interests
