En la presente investigación se realizó un análisis a las MiPymes del sector turístico de Villeta Cundinamarca, el objetivo general de esta investigación fue analizar la gestión financiera en el contexto de competitividad de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas de este sector. En base a este análisis la metodología utilizada fue de enfoque mixto; donde se realizó una revisión documental para la recolección y análisis de la información, para esto también fue necesario la implementación de una encuesta y una entrevista a los prestadores de servicios turísticos del municipio. Por otra parte, se enunciaron los principales modelos de competitividad en los que se resalta la gestión financiera en las MiPymes, identificando los diferentes enfoques que resaltan y así obtener ventajas en el mercado. En los hallazgos encontrados en esta investigación se destaca que los prestadores de servicios turísticos del municipio opinan que una gestión financiera efectiva es vital para mantener la rentabilidad y llevar un control adecuado, pero no todos tienen el conocimiento claro sobre ello. Es importante resaltar que, para mejorar la competitividad de las MiPymes en el sector turístico, es fundamental que se promueva una mayor conciencia sobre la importancia de la gestión financiera y se brinde apoyo y capacitación en esta área. In this research, an analysis was carried out on MSMEs in the tourism sector of Villeta Cundinamarca. The general objective of this research was to analyze financial management in the context of competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized companies in this sector.Based on this analysis, the methodology used was a mixed approach; where a documentary review was carried out for the collection and analysis of information, for this it was also necessary to implement a survey and an interview with the tourism service providers of the municipality. On the other hand, the main competitiveness models were stated in which financial management in MSMEs is highlighted, identifying the different approaches that stand out and thus obtain advantages in the market. The findings found in this research highlight that the municipality's tourism service providers believe that effective financial management is vital to maintain profitability and maintain adequate control, but not all have clear knowledge about this. It is important to highlight that, to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in the tourism sector, it is essential to promote greater awareness about the importance of financial management and provide support and training in this area.
