Esta investigación permitió determinar las prácticas alimentarias y saludables del adolescente con sobrepeso y obesidad en el instituto educativo Técnico Francisco Manzanera Henríquez de Girardot Cundinamarca. El tipo de diseño fue un estudio descriptivo, la muestra estuvo conformada por 39 adolescentes, los cuales se les aplico el instrumento de valoración referenciado en base a la valoración de las rutas integrales de atención en salud por el ministerio de salud y protección social, encuesta nacional de situación nutricional de Colombia (ENSIN 2010); adaptado por las investigadoras del presente trabajo de grado y revisado por la nutricionista experta Andrea Yulieth Rativa Sánchez egresada de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, perteneciente al grupo de investigación Equidad y Seguridad Alimentaria Nutricional de la Facultad de Medicina. En general se puede concluir que los adolescentes de la Institución Educativa no cumplen con una adecuada practica saludable por lo tanto existe un déficit en los requisitos de mantenimiento de una ingesta suficiente de alimento, mantenimiento de una ingesta suficiente de agua y equilibrio entre actividades y el descanso, esto conlleva a que la población objeto de investigación no presenta una buena condición de salud, generándole sobrepeso y obesidad , es por eso que se debe dar a conocer a los adolescentes medidas de prevención y mantenimiento de la salud enfocado en las practicas saludables en los adolescentes comprendidos en la edad de 12 a 18 años. ABSTRACT: This research allowed to determine the alimentary and healthy practices of adolescents with overweight and obesity in the technical education institute Francisco Manzanera Henríquez de Girardot Cundinamarca. The type of design was a descriptive study, the sample consisted of thirty-nine adolescents, which are applied the assessment instrument referenced based on the assessment of comprehensive health care routes by the Ministry of health and social protection, national survey of nutritional status of Colombia (ENSIN 2010); adapted by the researchers of the present work of degree and reviewed by the expert nutritionist Andrea Yulieth Sanchez Rativa graduated from the National University of Colombia, belonging to the research group Equity and Nutritional Food Safety of the Faculty of Medicine. In general, it can be concluded that education institute adolescents do not comply with an adequate healthy practice, therefore there is a deficit in the maintenance requirements of a sufficient intake of food, maintenance of sufficient water intake and balance between activities and rest. , this leads to the fact that the population under investigation does not present a good health condition, generating overweight and obesity, that is why adolescents should be made aware of preventive and health maintenance measures focused on healthy practices in the adolescents included in the age of 12 to 18 years.
