Este proyecto de grado, titulado " Beneficios, desventajas y consecuencias del uso de Inteligencia Artificial en las firmas de Auditoría", busca investigar el uso de Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en auditorías financieras. La auditoría financiera es un proceso importante para garantizar la precisión y confiabilidad de la información financiera de las organizaciones, pero el aumento de la complejidad y el volumen de datos financieros han generado la necesidad de innovar en este campo. Este estudio analizará la aplicación de Inteligencia Artificial en auditorías financieras, identificará los beneficios, desventajas y desafíos de implementar Inteligencia Artificial, que puede detectar anomalías en estados financieros y evaluar la efectividad al realizar procedimientos de auditoría. A través de una revisión sistemática de literatura, encuestas y el desarrollo este proyecto busca contribuir al avance del conocimiento sobre la aplicación de Inteligencia Artificial en auditorías financieras, brindando información valiosa para profesionales, investigadores y organizaciones interesadas en innovar en este campo. El proyecto se desarrolló, incluyendo la revisión literatura, diseño metodología, recolección y análisis de datos, cursos, ejemplos del uso de IA en auditoria y redacción del documento final. This degree project, entitled “Benefits, disadvantages and consequences of the use of Artificial Intelligence in auditing firms”, seeks to investigate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in financial audits. Financial auditing is an important process to ensure the accuracy and reliability of organizations' financial information, but the increasing complexity and volume of financial data have generated the need for innovation in this field. This study will analyze the status of the application of Artificial Intelligence in financial audits, identify the benefits, disadvantages and challenges of implementing Artificial Intelligence, which can detect anomalies in financial statements and evaluate the effectiveness when performing audit procedures. Through a systematic literature review, surveys and development, this project seeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge on the application of Artificial Intelligence in financial audits, providing valuable information for practitioners, researchers and organizations interested in innovating in this field. The project was developed, including literature review, methodology design, data collection and analysis, courses, examples of the use of AI in auditing and writing of the final document.
