Item Plantear estrategias para el fortalecimiento del turismo sostenible en la ciudad de Girardot.(2025-06-19) Moreno Martínez, José Alberto; Alvarez Salazar, Enny EdithEl presente trabajo de grado analiza el destino turístico “EL ARBOLITO” en la ciudad de Girardot como un espacio con alto potencial para el desarrollo del turismo sostenible. A través de una metodología cualitativa que incluye entrevistas, observación directa y revisión documental, se identificaron las fortalezas del lugar, como su biodiversidad, paisaje y actividades al aire libre, así como debilidades relacionadas con infraestructura y manejo de residuos. Se diseñaron tres estrategias clave un evento anual de ciclomontañismo, la articulación con universidades para promover la investigación ambiental, y la capacitación de guías turísticos en sostenibilidad. Estas estrategias se alinean con los objetivos de Desarrollo sostenible (ODS) de la agenda 2030, en especial los ODS 8,11,12,13 y 15 el trabajo busca contribuir a consolidar a “EL ARBOLITO” como un destino turístico competitivo, responsable y participativo que genere beneficios sociales, económicos y ambientales para la región. ABSTRACT: This thesis analyzes the tourist destination "EL ARBOLITO" in the city of Girardot as a space with high potential for the development of sustainable tourism. Through a qualitative methodology that includes interviews, direct observation, and documentary review, the site's strengths were identified, such as its biodiversity, landscape, and outdoor activities, as well as weaknesses related to infrastructure and waste management. Three key strategies were designed: an annual mountain biking event, collaboration with universities to promote environmental research, and training for tour guides in sustainability. These strategies are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, specifically SDGs 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15. The thesis seeks to contribute to consolidating "EL ARBOLITO" as a competitive, responsible, and participatory tourist destination that generates social, economic, and environmental benefits for the region.
