| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: Una de las actividades importantes a desarrollar por el profesional de Enfermería son las maniobras de reanimación cardiopulmonar, en las cuales las debe debe conocer y practicar a cabalidad ya que su desconocimiento produce un desenlace fatal para los pacientes con paro cardiorrespiratorio. Es por ello, que el fin de la presente investigación es identificar el nivel de conocimientos y habilidades en reanimación cardiopulmonar en los Enfermeros de la Nueva Clínica San Sebastián de Girardot. Para la ejecución de está investigación, se realizó un estudio de enfoque cuantitativo con alcance descriptivo donde se tomó una muestra de 59 profesionales de enfermería, se aplicó un cuestionario de conocimientos llamado "Validado de Conocimientos Enfermeros sobre las actuales recomendaciones de Reanimación Cardiopulmonar 2010, publicado en la Revista Enfermería Clínica y adaptado a la actualización de la AHA 2015, elaborado por Juan Manuel Carmona. Para el reconocimiento de habilidades se aplicaron los listas de comprobación elaboradas por AHA 2010, donde se evaluaron dos aspectos: manejo de paro respiratorio y comprobación RCP y DEA. El estudio demostró que los Enfermeros de la Nueva Clínica San Sebastián presentan un nivel de conocimiento satisfactorio con resultado representado por el 75%. Se evidenció que entre mayor oportunidad de participación en maniobras de reanimación cardiopulmonar mayor es el nivel de conocimiento. En relación al desempeño en habilidades se identificaron falencias significativas en el manejo del paro respiratorio, donde el 89% en Enfermeros no cumplen con los ítems establecidos por la AHA en su lista de comprobación para el manejo de paro cardiorespiratorio, RCP y DEA. Por último, se pudo concluir que existe un nivel satisfactorio de conocimientos sobre reanimación por ello se propone continuar con las siguientes fases con el interés de identificar estrategias educativas como: videos, conferencias y talleres de simulación que permiten retención de conocimientos y habilidades en reanimación cardiopulmonar de los Enfermeros Profesionales de Nueva Clínica San Sebastián de Girardot. ABSTRACT: One of the important activities to be developed by the professional is cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, in which he must know them and practice them completely, since their ignorance produces a fatal outcome for patients with cardiorespiratory arrest. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the level of knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the Nurses of the Nueva Clínica San Sebastián de Girardot. For the execution of this research, a quantitative study with a descriptive scope was carried out, where a total sample of 59 Nursing professionals was take, a knowledge questionnaire called "Validated Nursing Knowledge on the current recommendations of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation 2010, Published in the journal Enfermería Clínica and adapted to the update of the AHA 2015, prepared by Juan Manuel Carmona. For the recognition of skills, two checklists elaborated by AHA were applied, where two aspects were evaluated: respiratory arrest management and CPR and DEA testing. The study showed that the nursens of the New Clinic San Sebastián present a satisfactory level of knowledge with result represented by 75%. It was evidenced that the greater the opportunity for participation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, the higher the level of knowledge. Regarding skill performance, significant failures were identified in the management os respiratory arrest, were 89% of Nurses did not comply with the items established by the AHA on their checklist for the management of cardio respiratory, CPR and AED. Finally, it was possible to conclude that there is a satisfactory level of knowledge about resuscitation. Therefore, it is proposed to continue with the following phase with the interest of identifying educational strategies such as: videos, conferences and simulation workshops that allow the retention of knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the professional Nurses of Nueva Clínica San Sebastián de Girardot. | en_EN |
