Aproximación a la historia política y social de la unión patriótica en fusagasugá (1984 – 2005).

Abstract

La Unión Patriótica se funda en el año de 1984 como parte de los acuerdos de la Uribe entre el gobierno de Belisario Betancur, en ese mismo año se conforma la junta patriótica municipal en Fusagasugá gracias al trabajo que desarrollaba con anterioridad la Central Nacional Provivienda y el Partido Comunista Colombiano, llegando así a obtener curules en el consejo dentro en su primera participación dentro de la contienda electoral. Debido a que la UP se transforma en la tercera fuerza política nivel nacional es percibida como una amenaza para los intereses y la hegemonía política de los partidos tradicionales, quienes implementaron un ataque sistematizado en contra de la Unión Patriótica, efectuando un genocidio, buscando erradicar por completo al partido de la vida política colombiana, dejando un salgo de mas de 6000 victimas fatales, mas los casos de desplazamiento forzado, desapariciones y demás violaciones de derechos humanos. Estos hechos también afectaron al municipio de Fusagasugá en donde se presentaron hechos violentos en contra de los militantes y el partido a modo de sabotaje de sus eventos, persecución por parte de organismos estatales, específicamente mediante arrestos injustificados y allanamientos ilegales desembocando en un proceso de estigmatización que daño la imagen del partido frente a la población civil, un factor que sirvió como escusa para justificar la violencia en contra de la UP, llegando finalmente a la ejecución de dos masacres que marcaron la historia del municipio.

The Patriotic Union was founded in 1984 as part of the Uribe agreements between the government of Belisario Betancur, in that same year the municipal patriotic board was formed in Fusagasugá thanks to the work previously carried out by the Central Nacional Provivienda and the Colombian Communist Party, thus obtaining seats on the council within its first participation in the electoral contest. Due to the fact that the UP becomes the third political force at the national level, it is perceived as a threat to the interests and political hegemony of the traditional parties, who implemented a systematized attack against the Patriotic Union, carrying out a genocide, seeking to eradicate complete the party of Colombian political life, leaving a balance of more than 6,000 fatal victims, plus cases of forced displacement, disappearances and other human rights violations. These events also affected the municipality of Fusagasugá, where there were violent acts against the militants and the party by way of sabotage of their events, persecution by state agencies, specifically through unjustified arrests and illegal raids, leading to a process of stigmatization. that damaged the image of the party in front of the civil population, a factor that served as an excuse to justify the violence against the UP, finally reaching the execution of two massacres that marked the history of the municipality.
