| dc.description.abstract | Objetivo: Determinar las características sociodemográficas de los pacientes con diagnóstico de TB, en los casos notificados en el municipio de Girardot- Cundinamarca. Materiales y método: Estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo retrospectivo, la información se obtuvo de fuentes secundarias (SIVIGILA) de casos con diagnóstico de TB notificados a la Secretaria de Salud del Municipio de Girardot en el periodo de 2018- 2019. La muestra correspondió a 82 personas con Dx de TB (2018) y 86 personas con Dx de TB (2019) Resultados: Las características demográficas de los habitantes con diagnóstico de TB en el municipio de Girardot fueron: para el año 2018 en el rango de edad de 65 a 74 años con un 18,29% y un 17,07% de 55 a 64 años, con una prevalencia en hombres, el 82,93% son trabajadores no calificados según la clasificación internacional uniforme de ocupaciones de los cuales el 29,27% son mujeres y el 53,66 % son hombres. Las personas con Dx de TB en el 2018 tuvieron una vinculación al régimen subsidiado del 45,12% y en el 2019 de un 50%. En el 2018 de los casos que fueron reportados al SIVIGILA el 90,25% fue confirmado por laboratorio y el 9,76% confirmado por clínica y para el 2019 el 86% confirmado por laboratorio y 14% confirmado por clínica. Conclusiones: Se establecieron las características demográficas, socioeconómicas y factores de riesgo bajo indicadores como: edad, sexo, estado civil, barrio, pertenencia étnica, grupo poblacional, comuna, estrato, afiliación al SGSSS, entidad afiliadora, oficio o labor, Desnutrición, VIH, y Diabetes de los pacientes diagnosticados con TB del municipio de Girardot ABSTRACT: Objective: To determine the sociodemographic characteristics of patients diagnosed with TB, in the cases reported in the municipality of Girardot-Cundinamarca.
