| dc.description.abstract | EI Trabajo Sexual Masculino a 10 largo de la historia se ha considerado como una práctica oculta despertando muy poco interés por los entes gubernamentales. Solo hasta la ultima década del presente siglo, se ha observado un incremento en las estrategias para mitigar los diferentes factores de riesgo en 10 referente a salud publica. La ciudad de Girardot- Cundinamarca al ser un centro de aglomeración de turistas, ya sea por su clima o por 10 que historialmente representa para el país, se convierte en un foco de hombres que desean prestar el trabajo sexual y que al mismo tiempo incrementan la posibilidad de aumentar la morbilidad de la ciudad. Por este motivo es necesario conocer las características del Trabajo sexual masculino, para poder implementar estrategias que acojan y disminuyan los riesgos. Para ello se realizo un estudio de caso, cualitativo con la aplicación de un total de 5 entrevistas estructuradas donde 2 de los participantes son travestí y 3 son gay, llegando a conocer diferentes aspectos de su trabajo como: costos, tipos de servicio, edad de inicio, lugar donde presta el servicio, entre otras. Esta investigación permito analizar mas a fondo el trabajo sexual masculino y conocer al trabajador desde la perspectiva de persona y no como la mayoría de sus clientes lo ven, un juguete sexual que solo Ie brinda placer por unos minutos. La ciudad de Girardot aun no cuenta can un sitio especifico en donde los trabajadores
sexuales masculinos puedan ejercer, esto hace que algunos de ellos ofrezcan sus servicios en las calles o callejones oscuros de la ciudad, también se encontró que a pesar de ser una población vulnerable perciben los riesgos al ejercer la prostitución callejera y llama la atención que esta violencia es vista como algo natural por su condición diversa. ABSTRACT: Male Sex Work throughout history has been considered a hidden practice, arousing very little interest by government entities. Only until the last decade of this century, an increase has been observed in the strategies to mitigate the different risk factors in relation to public health. The city of Girardot-Cundinamarca, being a center of agglomeration of tourists, either because of its climate or because of what it historically represents for the country, becomes a focus of men who wish to provide sex work and at the same time increase the possibility of increasing the morbidity of the city. For this reason, it is necessary to know the characteristics of Male Sex Work, in order to implement strategies that accept and reduce risks. For this, a qualitative case study was carried out with the application of a total of 5 structured interviews where 2 of the participants are transvestite and 3 are gay, getting to know different aspects of their work such as: costs, types of service, age of start, place where the service is provided, among others. This research allowed us to further analyze male sex work and get to know the worker from the perspective of the person and not as most of his clients see him, a sex toy that only gives him pleasure for a few minutes.
