| dc.description.abstract | El Municipio de Girardot, posee una ubicación estratégica, que permite a los visitantes y a sus habitantes, disfrutar de los paisajes y realizar actividades eco-turísticas, las cuales están en el momento de más goce, y están disponibles entre su variedad para todas las edades. Un sitio ecológico, muy visitado por recomendación, ubicado en el km 8, vía Tocaima Girardot, en la vereda Pubenza, es el "Cerro Piedras Negras", en el cual se puede observar arte rupestre caminatas ecológicas y ciclo montañismo, observatorio de aves y también interacción con animales de granja. Como se menciono anteriormente, visitado por recomendación; esto hace alusión, a que el sitio no carece de señalización, lo cual desmerita un poco el lugar, pues dificulta de cierto modo el desplazamiento del turista, es por eso que es fácil deducir que al implementar la señalización correcta de la ruta, la experiencia del turista será la mejor y el sitio obtendrá el reconocimiento merecido. El turismo comunitario, se convierte en eje articulador de actividades productivas en el cerro. Los mismos habitantes se encargan de manera honesta en brindar al turista su conocimiento y realizar la guianza y el desarrollo de las rutas. En los últimos años ascendió el interés en las actividades deportivas en la ruta, se observan ciclistas y caminantes, es por eso que es importante tener en cuenta las necesidades de los visitantes y asegurar de que sea un sitio optimo y apto para que, de esta manera, crezca la zona a nivel socio económico y cultural.
