| dc.description.abstract | El avance tecnológico ha ido en aumento en los últimos años, el punto de mayor auge ha sido durante el siglo XXI, pues todo ha estado en constante cambio, los productos y servicios se han renovado. La industria hotelera se ha acoplado a las nuevas tendencias, modernizando su estructura y funcionalidad, lo que ha hecho de poco a poco, la tecnología reemplace personal, disminuya costos y gastos, optimice procesos de producción y mejora la calidad en sus servicios, así mismo la infraestructura son modernas, lo cual ha puesto a los hoteles en un nivel de competitividad cada vez más alto.
Este estudio logró mediante encuestas aplicadas a 20 hoteles de la ciudad de GIRARDOT, comprobar el nivel de avance tecnológico que poseen estos en el desarrollo de sus actividades. En el proceso las encuestas que se aplicaron, tenían dos enfoques, uno dirigido hacia la innovación de procesos administrativos y el otro sobre inventarios de software y hardware. Los resultados que se obtuvieron fueron satisfactorios, puestos que se evidenció que le gremio hotelero de la ciudad de GIRARDOT, cuneta con un buen nivel tecnológico y capacidad innovadora, y así mismo están dispuestos a implementar herramientas que contribuyan al desarrollo de sus operaciones diarias, pensando siempre en la satisfacción de las necesidades de los huéspedes y su bienestar, sin dejar de lado su posición en el sector hotelero y el nivel competitivo que tiene, pues la demanda hotelera de la región es significativa, puesto que se cuenta con aproximadamente 160 hoteles.
Technological progress has been increasing in recent years, the point of greatest boom has been during the 21st century, as everything has been constantly changing, products and services have been renewed. The hotel industry has joined the new trends, modernizing its structure and functionality, which has led the technology to gradually replace employees, reduce costs and expenses, optimize production processes and improve the quality of its services, as well infrastructures are modern, which has put hotels at an increasingly high level of competitiveness.
This study achieved through surveys applied to 20 hotels in the city of GIRARDOT, to check the level of technological progress that these have in the development of their activities. In the process, the surveys that were applied had two approaches, one directed towards the innovation of administrative processes and the other on software and hardware inventories. The results obtained were satisfactory, since it was evidenced that the hotel guild of the city of GIRARDOT, have a good technological level and innovative capacity, and are also willing to implement tools that contribute to the development of their daily operations, thinking always in the satisfaction of the needs of the guests and their well-being, without neglecting their position in the hotel sector and the competitive level they have, since the hotel demand in the region is significant, since there are approximately 160 hotels. | es_CO |
