Transversalidad curricular desde educación ambiental: estrategia didáctica para fomentar cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo investigativo de enfoque cualitativo ofrece un panorama de la problemática ambiental que se determina al realizar un muestreo inicial aplicando algunos instrumentos que definen el objeto de estudio y planteamiento del problema, donde se demuestra la carencia de hábitos y comportamientos en pro del cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente, las debilidades del Proyecto Ambiental Escolar PRAE y el aislamiento de la educación ambiental en el currículo de la básica primaria de la Institución José Celestino Mutis. El tipo de estudio de este proyecto es la Investigación Acción aplicada a la Educación, por consiguiente, se diseña e implementa una estrategia didáctica con el fin de fomentar el cuidado y preservación del medio ambiente a través de la transversalidad de la educación ambiental en el currículo, la cual consta de cuatro componentes, Sensibilización, Reconociendo y valorando,La realidad del Reino animal y Apropiación del territorio; con diversas actividades que integran la dimensión ambiental con temas de otras asignaturas. Para evaluar los componentes; se aplican entrevistas, encuestas,folletos con guía pedagógica y un grupo de diálogo, bajo la mirada de tres categorías, Educación ambiental y cuidado del medio ambiente, Didáctica y, transversalidad curricular; que permitieron analizar la relación que establecen los estudiantes de los elementos de la naturaleza con la vida, el valor del cuidado de su entorno y la consecución de nuevos comportamientos y valores ambientales que prevalezcan en su familia y comunidad para garantizar la supervivencia de las actuales y futuras generaciones.

To evaluate the components; Interviews, surveys, brochures with pedagogical guide and dialogue group, environmental education and care of the environment, curricular didactics and transversality are applied; that allowed us to analyze the relationship that students made of the elements of nature with life, the value of caring for their environment and the achievement of new behaviors and values​ ​ that prevail in their family and community to guarantee the survival of current and future generations.
