Para esto se tuvo en cuenta la descripción del vector, su ciclo de vida y comportamiento en su hábitat natural y en asentamientos humanos. También se tuvieron como referencia estudios, reportes e investigaciones realizadas por los entes gubernamentales del país y todos los aportes hechos por la academia en su intento constante de ofrecer información para el control de la enfermedad de Chagas en el país. Finalmente se elaboró el mapa de calor del municipio de Fusagasugá, teniendo como variables: altitud del municipio, altitud en la que predomina la presencia de los triatominos, temperatura favorable para los mismos, temperatura de las diferentes localizaciones veredales del municipio, entre otras, las cuales sirvieron como suministro indispensable para la realización de este estudio. The objective of this work was to carry out a zonal approximation of the presence of triatomines using as a main tool the use of geographic information systems (GIS), based on the combination of environmental and anthropological variables of the municipality of Fusagasugá. For this purpose, the description of the vector, its life cycle and behavior in its natural habitat and in human settlements were taken into account. Studies, reports and research carried out by the country's governmental entities and all the contributions made by the academy in its constant attempt to provide information for the control of Chagas disease in the country were also taken into account.
