| dc.description.abstract | Resumen: Este estudio tiene como propósito reconocer, a través de la historia de vida, cómo han sido los procesos de participación social, de educación y de equidad de género que se han desarrollado en
el marco del liderazgo femenino en el municipio de Arbeláez; un municipio con raíces fuertemente conservadoras, excluyentes y machistas, que han minorizado el campo de acción de las mujeres Arbelaences.
Dicha situación requiere formular nuevas pautas para el reconocimiento y apropiación de sus experiencias y expectativas, frente al liderazgo femenino en el medio rural y para ello es indispensable modificar los imaginarios sexistas y discriminantes que todavía persisten en el interior de la comunidad Arbelaence, siendo así un motivo más de lucha y constancia en la consolidación del legado que cada mujer construye día a día, con elementos tan importantes como lo son sus conocimientos. Hay que mencionar además, que las lideresas desde sus conocimientos quieren mantener el liderazgo femenino vigente y es allí donde nace la invitación para aquellas mujeres jóvenes, a que retomen sus prácticas y experiencias, porqué es necesario seguir empoderando sus raíces como gestoras sociales y comunitarias, en el marco de las lideresas rurales que el municipio de Arbeláez necesita para consolidar nuevos imaginarios del poderío femenino. ABSTRAC: This study aims to recognize, through the history of life, how the processes of social participation, education and gender equity have been developed within the framework of women's leadership in the municipality of Arbeláez; A municipality with strong conservative, exclusive and macho roots, which have reduced the field of action of women Arbelaences. This situation requires the formulation of new guidelines for the recognition and appropriation of their experiences and expectations, in the face of female leadership in the rural milieu and for this it is indispensable to modify the sexist and discriminating imaginaries that still persist in the interior of the Arbelaence community. A motif of struggle and constancy in the consolidation of the legacy that each woman builds day by day, with elements as important as her knowledge.
