Abstract
The objective of this study is to develop an economic control system for an anthropomorphic robotic manipulator, which can be operated by a person and thus avoid contact with dangerous substances that may affect health. In the present work, a control system for a robotic manipulator developed using a sensory glove. This project carried out in three phases, first, the process of design, construction of the parts, and assembly of the anthropomorphic robotic hand is carried out, then it is carried out by the design and construction of the sensory glove and its conditioning circuit, finally, the mathematical model of the system identified and the control algorithm developed to carry out different grip tests. Through the control carried out with the sensory glove developed, the robotic hand prototype is capable of making pressure and precision grips with objects whose dimensions are between 1 cm to 8 cm and whose weight doesn’t exceed 400 gr. The thumb, index, middle, ring, and little fingers have an average delay time of 0.56 s, 0.53 s, 0.57 s, 0.41 s, and 0.48 s respectively. The following license files are associated with this item:
