This work is focused on the exploration of the Colombian Pacific Currulao genre, to adapt it to the musical format of a trombone quartet, which is normally made up of 3 tenor trombones and a bass trombone and drums, which basically consists of drums (snare drum, Toms and bass drum) and cymbals (Crash, Hi-hat and Ride). Likewise, 2 compositions were made for this format of trombone and drums in which musical characteristics of this musical style are generally used, where it is deduced that the exploration of the tones of both the drums and the trombone mixed with the Currulao generates very interesting sound environments. | spa |
