Apoyar el ciclo de vida del software de sistemas de información institucionales

Abstract

La documentación de software es uno de los aspectos clave del proceso de desarrollo de software, el cual se considera una técnica adecuada para facilitar el acceso y aprendizaje al usuario de los aplicativos desarrollados; cuando se refiere a este concepto en muchos casos no se inician con el desarrollo de proyectos nuevos, sino se realizan cambios o actualizaciones inevitables ya sea por nuevos requerimientos u obsolescencia de funcionalidades, por ende es necesario llevar a cabo una documentación de todas las modificaciones que hayan aplicado al software para no tener inconvenientes o complicaciones a los usuarios que interactúan con el mismo; esto lo podemos relacionar con un ejemplo como lo sería una persona que va de viaje por una carretera sin usar ningún tipo de guía o mapa, el solo conduce hacia adelante donde puede tener dos opciones llegar a su destino o perderse y esa pérdida es tiempo y combustible gastado, en el caso del desarrollo de software es la herramienta que usara el usuario para guiarse dentro del aplicativo, revisar donde tiene que acceder y realizar su proceso sin perder el rumbo accediendo a otras aplicaciones y evitar posibles complicaciones a futuro (KeepCoding, 2022). Este proyecto tiene como finalidad apoyar el apoyar el ciclo de vida del software de sistemas de información institucionales, mediante el desarrollo de guías rápidas, manuales de usuario, pruebas de funcionalidad y control de calidad para dichos aplicativos o módulos que cuenta la Universidad de Cundinamarca sede Fusagasugá; se efectuó la actualización y creación de materiales de documentación de software para los aplicativos que fueron modificados o van a salir producción, siendo la documentación del desarrollo realizado por los diferentes usuarios un requisito al ser el soporte que el ingeniero desarrollador obtiene al finalizar el proceso, además, de ser una guía para los usuarios si tienen dudas o inconvenientes sobre el producto entregado por el profesional. El proceso de la presente pasantía se desarrolló por una persona con conocimientos en ingeniería de sistemas, capaz de comprender las palabras técnicas, entender los diferentes procesos que maneja el aplicativo, para poder estructurar y organizar los pasos que debe realizar un usuario normal cuando accede y navega dentro del aplicativo; el objetivo es dar a conocer todas las funcionalidades y herramientas que puede realizar de manera clara al usuario final. The purpose of this project is to support the software life cycle of institutional information systems, through the development of quick guides, user manuals, functionality tests and quality control for said applications or modules that the University of Cundinamarca has. Fusagasugá; The updating and creation of software documentation materials was carried out for the applications that were modified or are going to go into production, the documentation of the development carried out by the different users being a requirement since it is the support that the developer engineer obtains at the end of the process, in addition, to be a guide for users if they have doubts or problems about the product delivered by the professional. The process of this internship was developed by a person with knowledge in systems engineering, capable of understanding technical words, understanding the different processes handled by the application, in order to structure and organize the steps that a normal user must perform when accessing and navigate within the application; the objective is to make known all the functionalities and tools that it can carry out in a clear way to the end user.
