ABSTRACT: Soil is a very important component of the biosphere, and a fundamental determinant for productivity and terrestrial ecosystems. Worldwide, it is estimated that around 15% of the earth´s surface has been degraded by human activity, such as intensive, extensive of semi- extensive exploitation, and deforestation. Situations that have been observed and that currently suffer some remmants of the tropical dry forest (BST) ecosystem in Colombia. Therefore, this research work seeks the application of sustainable strategies, in order to favor the restoration of degrated soils in the la Franconia farm located in the Sucre village in the municipality of Espinal-Tolima and the la Palmira farm located in the fpath Barzalosa of the Municipality of Girardot-Cundinamarca. This research modality degree work proposal is part of the international cooperation project "Transfer of knowledge for the recorvery of degraded soils under tropical dry forest ecosystems (Colombia) and Mediterranean (Spain)" with reference COOpb20365 of the international Cooperation Program I-COOP + 2018, effective between 04/01/2019 and 11/30/2021. The environmental engineering programs of the university of Cundinamarca, the Santo Tomás University, the Gran Colombiano Polytechnic University Institution and the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of seville (IRNAS) Spain, are the participating entities, with the aim of promoting exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of research processes. | spa |
