dc.description.abstract | La prevención de lesiones en los deportistas universitarios es un tema que
desde la perspectiva de los autores hoy en día es infravalorado en las
universidades públicas, por tal motivo el presente escrito tiene como objetivo
reflexionar sobre esta epidemiología lesiva, conceptualizar sobre cuáles son
las lesiones más comunes en este deporte, además de realizar un breve
análisis sobre los factores que de una u otra manera inciden en la lesión de
un deportista y así poder determinar si son tenidos en cuenta o no en el plan
de entrenamiento; para finalizar se pretende establecer ciertas
características que un entrenador debería tener en cuenta para sus sesiones
de trabajo con el equipo, abordando los múltiples factores no solo de la vida
deportiva sino también de la vida cotidiana, con el fin de tratar de reducir el
riesgo de lesión en sus deportistas universitarios.
Es a raíz de la baja inversión de recursos hacia los equipos deportivos
por parte de la Universidad, por lo tanto, los entrenadores los principales y
únicos encargados de sus deportistas, no tienen el apoyo de especialistas
en otras áreas de conocimiento como se lo podrían aportar profesionales en
fisioterapia, preparación física, nutrición e inclusive psicología deportiva.
Este escrito se presenta como una herramienta de fácil comprensión que
reúne aspectos relevantes de cada una de esas áreas con el fin de ser tenido
en cuenta en los planes de entrenamiento direccionados principalmente a
tener deportistas saludables.
The prevention of injuries in university athletes is an issue that from
the perspective of the authors today is undervalued in public universities, for
this reason the present paper aims to reflect on this harmful epidemiology,
conceptualize transfers are the most common injuries in this sport, in addition
to carrying out a brief analysis on the factors that in one way or another affect
the injury of an athlete and thus be able to determine whether or not they are
taken into account in the training plan; Finally, it is intended to establish

players.
