ABSTRACT: Care must be felt, expressed, understood and applied by each individual in a particular and responsible way, and must be articulated between previous knowledge and that acquired by human beings in a cultural context, which is fundamental in care practices. The meaning of care for each adolescent pregnant woman is imprinted under a unique seal, in which, through cultural diversity, the importance of alternative care can be understood, integrating ancestral knowledge and wisdom that allows for the continuity of a legacy of wisdom in each family, without going against the current of scientific knowledge. Harmony is the key to the care of the different populations, a balance between their roots and science, which guarantees quality care without the need to detach from their ancestors, merging and appropriating the care, that is the formula that must be implemented as a guarantor of success in the proposed interventions once the way in which the target population is taking care of themselves and their unborn children is known. The word gestation originally refers to the process of creation or formation of a new being. During this stage of the woman's life cycle, the changes experienced by the pregnant woman should be assumed precisely as a process of transition, change and adaptation to the development of a new life. This is a process that is even more important when it occurs in adolescent women. | es_CO |
