| dc.description.abstract | La caracterización del consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, la experiencia en la prostitución y la relación con el consumo de sustancias, tanto el tipo como la frecuencia en las mujeres trabajadoras sexuales en la Ciudad de Girardot- Cundinamarca tiene como fin, diseñar estrategias de prevención y autocuidado que mejoren la calidad de vida de las trabajadoras sexuales. Esta investigación se aborda desde un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo descriptivo, de corte transversal, con mujeres mayores de 18 años, que sean trabajadoras sexuales, que trabajen en la ciudad de Girardot y que reconozcan el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas, para identificar y clasificar el riesgo del consumo de las sustancias psicoactivas a través de los instrumentos de tamizaje Assist y Audit, así mismo, se realiza el diligenciamiento de los carnet para el seguimiento y control de las trabajadoras sexuales en el sitio de lenocinio, se realiza una entrevista semi-estructurada, abordando la experiencias personales del trabajo sexual y el consumo de sustancias de cada una de las entrevistadas. Como resultado se identifica que el 70,3% (26) trabajan en un establecimiento, el 24,3% (9) trabajan en la calle y el 5,4% (2) trabajan en la modalidad de prepago. Se evidencia el consumo de alcohol en un 100% (37) y de tabaco en un 75,7% (28), de las sustancias ilícitas se encuentra en primer lugar la marihuana con un 32,4% (12) seguida de la cocaína con un 5,4% (2). Existe mucho temor al reconocer el consumo de sustancias psicoactiva tanto licitas como ilícitas, razón por la cual se obtuvo un 49% (37) de las 76 mujeres abordadas que aceptaron el hábito del consumo, siendo un porcentaje bajo para la realidad frente a la exposición de sustancias licitas e ilícitas observadas en el entorno en que ellas trabajan. Se evidencia un consumo problemático en las mujeres que aceptaron el consumo de sustancias ya que el 100% (37) requiere algún tipo de intervención asociado al consumo de alcohol, el 89,3% (25) del total de mujeres que aceptaron el consumo de tabaco requieren algún tipo de intervención, el 91,6% (11) del total de mujeres que aceptaron el consumo de marihuana requiere algún tipo de intervención y el 100% (2) de las mujeres que aceptaron el consumo de cocaína también requieren algún tipo de intervención. Es recomendable socializar los resultados ante la secretaria de salud para fortalecer las estrategias de trabajo comunitario con un plan articulado a secretaria de salud departamental y las EPS.
