| dc.description.abstract | Cuando hablamos de turismo accesible hablamos de la capacidad que posee un individuo para acceder a algún lugar sin importar su tipo de condición física, de la cual se tiene claro que toda zona accesible debe contar con la infraestructura necesaria para todo tipo de discapacidad ya sean sillas de ruedas, carteles en braille entre otras, con esto queremos dar a entender que el turismo en Girardot está cada vez más adaptado a aquellas personas que no tenían la oportunidad de disfrutar de unas vacaciones en familia o viajar a los lugares más turísticos de la Ciudad por su limitación física, ya que antes se pensaba que la población de personas discapacitadas no traerían beneficios al turismo, la cual esta suposición es incorrecta y más alejada de la verdad, Colombia cuenta con una población de discapacidad muy alta, principalmente en zonas de alto valor turístico y la ciudad de Girardot no es una excepción de ello, ya que por ser un destino turístico popular mucha gente viene a disfrutar del turismo que ofrece la ciudad, de la cual el 15% de los turistas que llegan cuentan con algún tipo de discapacidad, por ello la rama turística y hotelera se ha visto obligada a cambiar y adaptarse a las condiciones que se deben tener para ofrecer todo tipo de turismo a toda personas que lo necesite, por esta razón queremos dar a entender la importancia de las implementación que se deben tener en cuenta a la hora de hablar de turismo accesible en la ciudad de Girardot.
