| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: Con el objetivo de generar la Cartografía del espacio físico de la Universidad de Cundinamarca extensión Soacha, se elaboró un levantamiento planímetro y altimétrico, el cual fue enlazado a una serie de puntos materializados en campo, asignándoles el sistema de coordenadas oficial para Colombia MAGNA-SIRGAS (Marco Geocéntrico Nacional). Dando reconocimiento al terreno de la Universidad de cundinamarca extensión Soacha, se ubicó y materializo 2 puntos de referencia. El levantamiento topográfico se desarrolló mediante la metodología de una poligonal cerrada. Se generó un modelo digital de terreno en tres dimensiones, para representar la superficie terrestre de la Universidad, el cual se creó en el software de Sistemas de Información Geográfica ArcGIS. Se obtuvo que la Universidad de Cundinamarca extensión Soacha cuenta con un área de 52.143 m2 y que la diferencia de alturas entre la cota más elevada y la más baja, fue de 10.5 metros, encontrando al nororiente del campus hasta una pendiente del 60%.
El levantamiento planimétrico y altimétrico se elaboró de acuerdo a los objetivos planteados y dejo datos espaciales e información topográfica de la Universidad de Cundinamarca extensión Soacha que permitirá tomar decisiones para generar nuevos proyectos.
