| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: El turismo en la actualidad es una de las actividades más importantes con la que cuenta la economía colombiana. Venecia ubicado al sureste del departamento de Cundinamarca, es un municipio con potencial agropecuario y con diversa oferta turística. Lugares como el salto de la Chorrera y el mirador del Cañón del Sumapaz, son atractivos que hacen de este lugar un excelente destino para realizar actividades naturales y de aventura. El objetivo se orientó a realizar un análisis de oferta y demanda al subsector. La metodología utilizada fue descriptiva y analítica. El estudio identifico los sitios reconocidos y potenciales (realizando un inventario) y las necesidades de la demanda turística. La amabilidad de los habitantes (29%) es uno de los aspectos positivos que sobresalen. La riqueza natural que tiene, es invaluable, siendo otro aspecto favorable para los demandantes (27%). Las palabras que identifican al municipio son eventos y festividades (23%) y ecoturístico (13%). Los turistas practican turismo de aventura (31%): como ciclomontañismo, barranquismo, trotar, entre otros; y ecoturismo: (27%) senderismo, admiración y apreciación de los recursos naturales. ABSTRACT: Tourism today is one of the most important activities that the Colombian economy has. Venecia located southeast of the Department of Cundinamarca, is a municipality with agricultural potential and diverse tourist offer. Places like the Salto de la Chorrera and the Mirador del Sumapaz Canyon, are attractive that make this place an excellent destination for natural activities and adventure. The objective was to undertake an analysis of supply and demand to the subsector. The methodology used was descriptive and analytical. The study identified the recognized and potential sites (making an inventory) and the needs of tourism demand. The kindness of the inhabitants (29%) is one of the positive aspects that stand out. The natural richness it has, it is invaluable, being another favorable aspect for the plaintiffs (27%). The words that identify the municipality are events and festivities (23%) and ecotourism (13%).
