dc.description.abstract | El impuesto de industria y comercio es uno de los impuestos de mayor participación en los ingresos tributarios de un municipio o ente territorial, a través de este se busca aportar a la inversión y suplir con gasto público proyectado de acuerdo con el presupuesto municipal, contribuyendo a las obligaciones y a los objetivos del ente territorial, cabe mencionar que por parte del municipio quien actúa como sujeto activo no existe contraprestación con el contribuyente, pues este es naturalmente el obligado a declarar y a pagar el impuesto. En el municipio de Fusagasugá en el año 2020 el concejo municipal aprueba un incremento de tarifas para determinadas actividades económicas, incluida la actividad de las ferreterías mayoristas, actividad 4663 “Comercio al por mayor de materiales de construcción, de ferretería, pinturas, de vidrio, equipo y materiales de fontanería y calefacción” aumentado un 58% el valor de la tarifa, pasando de un 4,6x1000 a un 8x1000 sobre el nivel de ingresos operacionales u ordinarios obtenidos por el desarrollo de la actividad económica durante un periodo fiscal correspondiente en el municipio. El presente trabajo de investigación se desarrolló basado en lo planteado anteriormente con la finalidad de analizar el impacto económico generado por el incremento de tarifas en el sector de las ferreterías, puesto que es uno de los sectores económicos más grandes del municipio, además de que en los años 2020 - 2021 aún estaba vigente la pandemia COVID19 y las afectaciones en las organizaciones podrían afectar en gran medida su funcionamiento.
