| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: La minería es una actividad que posee larga historia en el continente y el país, heredada
de los indígenas, donde se explotaba principalmente oro de manera artesanal; pero que en
los últimos años y con el desarrollo de nuevas formas productivas, la búsqueda de apertura
en algunos mercados y la exploración de nuevas energías ha llevado a que este sector se
evidencie como el camino hacia el progreso, aun cuando parece ser esta la principal
culpable de daños y conflictos ambientales en el país. En consecuencia el objetivo del
trabajo es evidenciar los cambios en el territorio ocasionados por el auge de la actividad
minera, en una zona de tradición agrícola y ganadera, como lo es la vereda Tibita ubicada
en el municipio de Lenguazaque (Cundinamarca). En el texto se analizaran los ámbitos de
la vida cotidiana que se alteraron producto de las transformaciones en el territorio. Se
analizarán dos momentos uno antes de la minería y otro después de esta, una mirada desde
los pobladores que permitirá comprender los procesos que acarrea no solo la mega minería
sino la minería artesanal o tradicional.
