The forest inventory gives us the facility to register variables of national interest of the natural forests of Colombia, in order to provide information that contributes to the monitoring and monitoring of ecosystems. That is why, in the development of this research, it was intended to develop a forest and phytosanitary inventory in order to provide quantitative information of the flora found in the area of direct influence of the facilities of the San Francisco Plant of ORF SA , from the city of Espinal, in which, using quantitative indices, parameters such as Margalef's Index, Simpson's Dominance Index and the Shannon Index were calculated in order to find the Importance Value Index (IVI) . As a result, 56 individuals were identified, most of them were fruit trees. The most representative families were Myrtaceae and Anacardiaceae. The values of the indices showed values of the DAP between 0.2 and 7.8 and in the determination of the phytosanitary status, the good state (BE) and without symptoms of diseases (B) of the arboreal flora were identified. For a better understanding of the data, technical sheets were created with each of the species found. In the study carried out in the San Francisco Plant, species of national and global importance were identified making the study area a place rich in floristic diversity at the regional level. The study of Colombian flora has been continuously developing since the Royal Botanical Expedition of the New Kingdom of Granada, led by the scientist José Celestino Mutis, and has made it possible to size Colombia as one of the richest countries in floristic diversity worldwide. It is evident that from the legacy of Mutis many works have been gradually documenting regional floras. However, it is increasingly urgent to promote this knowledge, among local and scientific communities, in order to promote the conservation of this resource that has been suffering a significant pressure due to the degradation of all natural ecosystems (ISAGEN, 2011).es_CO
