Abstract: Girardot with the surrounding towns are tourist destinations with a great variety of tourist attractions that have cultural value, history and beauty. Among the wide range of services offered are adventure tourism, fun and leisure, including among these services the natural attractions of faunal and floral diversity, therefore, what was sought to identify was the management and care that tourist establishments give to the fauna and flora resources. Given all this, this project was developed in two of the most influential tourist establishments in the region, The recreational Park and Zoo Piscilago and Cafam resort, in order to identify the perception of tourists based on the management and care of the flora and fauna that they implement in their entity, since among the services offered are the natural attractions which are the zoos, for the identification of these assessments we proceeded with the development of 75 surveys to tourists and 15 to workers in the establishment Piscilago and 75 surveys to tourists and 15 to workers in the establishment Cafam, with a total of 180 surveys implemented in peak season, as well as observation and photographic records in the two tourist providers and the development of an awareness booklet for conservation of wild species and field work carried out in the CAR and Carabineros Police. Based on the foregoing, it is concluded that the supply of natural services is of great interest to tourists and that the conservation and care of animals should be paramount for tourism providers that manage these resources. That the surveys carried out to the workers of the two establishments show that they work to guarantee the preservation of the fauna and flora that they possess to offer more ecological balance to the territory. That the tourism providers that want to manage wildlife must have all the corresponding permits that the CAR requires, because the animals can not be objects of display or for profit.es_CO
