Basal stems death is a pathology consisting of the involvement of young stems emerging from the base of the plant, these are attacked at the time of the pinch or cut that is made for future production. The main organism involved is Botrytis cinerea, which breaks down the tissue in a gradual way, making it impossible to maintain productive over time. To avoid this pathology I want to determine the effect of Colbón Madera mixed with Prochloraz, with a quaternary ammonium, and pure, in preventing the death of basal stems in the productive system of Rose sp. va. Freedom, In the company Flores Las Acacias. Will be Perform a completely random statistical design in which four treatments will be implemented with four replicates each one; treatment one corresponds to using Colbón Madera with Procloraz, used commercial dose; the second treatment consists of using Colbón Madera, mixed with a fifth generation quaternary ammonium; the third treatment, is to use Colbón Madera pure, choosing twenty-four stalks, applying in the wound formed after the cut or pinch of the basal, forming a layer covering the entire affected part, or vulnerable. With regard to the incidence of the Falling death syndrome, the lack of significant differences in the treatments It allows to affirm that the work of sealing of the basal stems is not effective at the moment of the pinch with none of the three treatments. For the size variable of the lesion, although for three treatment, the pure Colbon Madera, presented the greatest advance, and the higher speed of growth, it is not decisive, to choose any of the other treatments as a definitive prevention measure.es_CO
