dc.description.abstractLas lesiones siempre van a estar presentes en el deporte de alto rendimiento, es decir que aun sabiendo que el deporte trae con ella un sin número de beneficios también cabe resaltar que en el deporte también trae consigo desventajas y una de ellas son las lesiones. Objetivo Identificar las características (tipos de lesión y mecanismos de lesión) y la prevalencia de lesiones en deportistas de alto rendimiento del club U Cundinamarca de Fusagasugá. Metodología La presente investigación se va a desarrollar desde el enfoque cuantitativo y es una investigación no experimental de tipo descriptivo y transversal el caso de este estudio es la prevalencia y caracterización de las lesiones en deportivas de alto rendimiento en el patinaje de carreras por medio de una serie de variables que permitan proporcionar un análisis preciso sobre el problema anterior mente mencionado. Por ende, se encuestan a los patinadores del club U Cundinamarca de Fusagasugá y se delimito la población a partir de dos únicos requisitos o características 1. Que el deportista tenga patín profesional. 2. Que sean deportistas de alto rendimiento. Resultados Analizando los resultados de la cantidad de lesiones obtenidas en su vida por deportista se puede afirmar que el porcentaje 15% es bajo para patinadores que han sufrido 5 o más lesiones lo que representaría un aspecto preocupante en lo que a la salud y al rendimiento deportivo se refiere, pero es preocupante ya que contamos con deportistas de muy corta edad desde 10 años. se pudo analizar en cuanto a la lesión de mayor presencia fueron las tegumentario con un 46% lleva a concluir que es el tejido más afectado en los patinadores del club U Cundinamarca, Y la zona del cuerpo que presento mayor cantidad de lesiones fue el tren inferior. Introduction. Injuries are always going to be present in high performance sport, that is to say that even knowing that the sport brings with it a number of benefits it should also be noted that in sports it also brings disadvantages and one of them are injuries. Objective To identify the characteristics (types of injury and mechanisms of injury) and the prevalence of injuries in high performance athletes from the U Cundinamarca club of Fusagasugá. Methodology The present investigation is going to be developed from the quantitative approach and it is a non-experimental research of descriptive and transversal type. The case of this study is the prevalence and characterization of the injuries in high performance sports in the skating of races by means of a series of variables that allow us to provide an accurate analysis of the aforementioned problem. Therefore, the skaters of the U Cundinamarca club of Fusagasugá are surveyed and the population is delimited from two unique requirements or characteristics 1. That the athlete has a professional skate. 2. That they are high performance athletes.
