| dc.description.abstract | RESUMEN: Cundinamarca está conformada por 15 provincias, que agrupan 116 municipios. Sumapaz es una de las provincias más importantes, por su aporte a la economía, variedad de climas, biodiversidad, cultura y riquezas naturales. El turismo es un sector de crecimiento y desarrollo regional. Sin embargo, es poca la información que se encuentra relacionada particularmente, con la oferta y demanda de esta actividad. El propósito de estudio fue analizar la capacidad de oferta y demanda turística de los municipios de Fusagasugá y Tibacuy. La investigación es de carácter descriptiva y analítica. En Fusagasugá los principales atractivos turísticos son el clima, la flora y el paisaje (entorno ambiental, eco-caminatas y cabalgatas por antiguos caminos rodeados de un esplendoroso paisaje), viveros de plantas ornamentales, parques naturales y el área turística del corregimiento oriental. Por otra parte, Tibacuy es un atractivo turístico reconocido por su riqueza natural (Cerro del Quininí) y ancestral (antiguo asentamiento panche); la capital del país queda a tan solo 80,8 Km o “horas del municipio, por esto, el 82% de los turistas proceden de Bogotá. De los Propietarios de la oferta turística del municipio 42% son personas entre los 41 y 60 años, 37% de ellos con un nivel educativo básico (primaria) pero gracias a su sencillez y trabajo, a través de los años, han generado reconocimiento. The purpose of the study was to analyze the tourism supply and demand capacity of the municipalities of Fusagasugá and Tibacuy. The research is descriptive and analytical. In Fusagasugá the main tourist attractions are the climate, the flora and the landscape (environmental surroundings, eco-walks and horseback rides along ancient roads surrounded by a splendid landscape), nurseries of ornamental plants, natural parks and the tourist area of the eastern village. On the other hand, Tibacuy is a tourist attraction recognized for its natural wealth (Cerro del Quininí) and ancestral (old panche settlement); the capital of the country is only 80.8 km or "hours of the municipality, therefore, 82% of tourists come from Bogota.
